ASBC/F President Sam Jamsheedi and Ambassador Hon. Joel Fitzgibbon GAICD met with Hon. Chris Minns, Premier of New South Wales, to discuss growing collaboration opportunities between Australia and Saudi Arabia.
The discussion focused on Saudi Vision 2030 and the role of Australian businesses in contributing to this transformation. They highlighted ASBC/F’s efforts in facilitating trade delegations, securing partnerships, and promoting investments between the two nations.
A key highlight was the NSW Government delegation for Big 5 Saudi, led by NSW Trade Commissioner Mr. Moin Anwar, which resulted in the exclusive signing of the Big 5 exhibition into Australia—a major milestone for business and government relations.
ASBC/F appreciates the New South Wales Government’s continued support in strengthening economic and trade ties. Looking ahead, the council remains committed to helping NSW companies expand into Saudi Arabia, leveraging its platform to connect businesses, governments, and investors for long-term success.
